Sideboard on its way...
Here is first the picture of some of Kester's work for the Hoefkens & Hannah show. Although a furniture maker himself, Kester has relinquished part of the making of each of his designs to other carefully selected highly skilled makers. He has two individual cabinet makers and a metal worker creating components for his furniture. When each craftsman has completed their part of the making the work is returned to Kester at his studio, where he adds further details and touches before applying a finish. This is no flat pack assembly! There is still a lot to be done to this piece and it will go through quite a transformation before being unveiled at the Private View on the 17th September.
